Rules & Regulations

  1. Children under the age of 17 will not be allowed to roam the park unsupervised & must be at their campsite by 10:00 p.m.

  2. All waste water and gray water must be stored in approved containers and dumped at specific stations.

  3. All camping units, towed from behind, must be backed into the site at a 90 degree angle with tongue facing towards the road.
    (Fire Code). Excludes pull thru sites.

  4. Fire Lane in front of sites 38-41 must be kept free from all personal belongings.

  5. No propane tanks larger than 40 lbs allowed.

  6. Speed limit in Park is 10 mph at all times for all vehicles.

  7. Personal ATV's and utility carts are not allowed in the park. All 2 wheeled gas vehicles must be road legal and have a vehicle pass.  Helmets must be worn.

  8. All docks must be owned and maintained by the Park. Most docks are privately rented and may not be used without renter’s permission, but some docks may be available for rent (inquire at Park Office).  There is NO running, jumping or diving off docks.

  9. Non-camping patrons (day use) are not allowed to leave boats in water overnight.

  10. Transient campers must anchor boats offshore from campsite! (Per DEQ and Consumers Energy)

  11. No more than 2 vehicles per campsite and 1 boat trailer.

  12. One camping unit per site, (an additional tent is allowed if occupied by children under 18). No more than 2 camping units on a site.

  13. There is a 21-day stay limit on all transient camping per site.

  14. Dish washing at water stations and in bathrooms is prohibited.

  15. *Fire must be in fire rings at all times and must never be moved without permission. Do not leave trash in fire pits when you leave. There will be a $25 clean-up fee if trash is left.

  16. No smoking in bathrooms or Park Office. Please dispose of cigarettes in an approved container.

  17. Hunting is not allowed. Display of firearms and weapons in park are prohibited.

  18. No digging or trenching of dirt on sites.

  19. Do not cut, destroy, or damage any living vegetation. (No nails or screws)

  20. Campers must register before setting up camp.

  21. Campers must re-register before changing sites.

  22. Quiet time is 10 pm to 8 am (pets Included). Use controlled volume throughout the day.

  23. All vehicles entering the Park must have a vehicle permit. ($5.00)

  24. Check out is at 12 noon.  Check in is at 1PM

  25. Pets must be on a leash at all times (6 foot long or less), and dung must be cleaned up and placed in dumpster immediately. Pets may not be left unattended or animal control may be called as a result.

  26. Profanity is not be tolerated, Verbal or Writing! This also includes profanity in music.

  27. Beach area is closed from 10 pm to 6 am.

  28. Upon departure from Park, all campers MUST leave campsite free from trash, debris, and personal belongings.
    ($25.00 Clean Up Fee).

  29. Visitors please leave by 11:00 P.M.

  30. Decks and /or carpet can be NO larger than 100 square feet.  Placement of decks and carpet must be approved by Park Management.

  31. No storage tents or sheds may be assembled, erected, or transported at any time.

  32. Cords to electric boxes and hoses/waterlines CAN NOT be buried

  33. Registered campers are responsible for their guests. Their negative actions could result in your eviction.

  34. Horses and other large animals are not allowed.

  35. Fireworks are not allowed.

  36. There is no parking on the East or West end green belt or Water Access Points.

  37. All persons in the park are required to obey the spirit and intent of any directive given to them by the Park Management, whether or not separately listed above.

  38. These rules may be amended, modified, canceled, or suspended at any time by Park Management.

  39. Failure by Campers to observe these rules may result in eviction for the Park.
